I am an Atlanta-based Production Designer, in the TV/film industry. Having worked in key roles in the Art Dept, I know what it takes to run an effective team. My background as an interior designer is where I developed my keen eye for detail. Knowing the psychology of design, makes me a better Production Designer....as I already understand color theory, what works and equally important....what doesn't work. I know design eras and furniture styles, which is brutally important for period pieces. I have an innate understanding of design, that a lot of my colleagues have to learn.
I see the glass as half full, never half empty. I welcome a challenge, as every day as a Production Designer, often brings a new one. And, did I mention, that I work well under pressure? Another great trait to have, in this industry.
